I've never really thought much about what i want to do after college. Actually, i haven't thought about it at all. You know how it is, asian parents nag day and night about getting into ivy league and that's all you really think about, but what about after that? i dunno, it's kinda intimidating looking out at the world outside of school and realizing you're gonna have to find your place there sooner or later. For me, i've been kind of avoiding that inevitable reality and instead i've only been looking as far ahead as college. I wonder, maybe a lot of PhD's are really ppl who were confused and intimidated by the outside world and wanted a few more yrs with the security and order of a schooling system.

yeah anyway, school's good. i believe i'll be taking Eukaryotic genetics and genomics at the columbia SHP; i've had my share of ridicule from the other azns (and even one white guy! can you believe the nerve of him?!?) for taking a bio related course. because of course any respectable azn/nerd/magnet student would take a hardcore calc XXVIII course or AP Quantum Mechanics. eh, bio's just awesome.
